The Lumenis LightSheer® Laser

The LightSheer® Laser is specifically designed for hair removal and has been clinically proven to be effective in permanently reducing unwanted hair. The LightSheer® diode laser works by targeting the pigment at the base of the hair follicle. The light emitted by the laser is absorbed in the pigment and converted into heat, damaging the hair follicle and causing a delay, if not the permanent destruction of the hair's ability to re-grow. Unlike electrolysis, which disables one hair at a time, The LightSheer® Laser is able to reach and treat hundreds of follicles at a time.
