The Titan Procedure™

The Titan Procedure™ is a safe, non-surgical, non-invasive process involving the use of an infrared light source to tighten skin and reverse the ill effects of aging. During the Titan Procedure™, the dermis is heated to cause collagen contraction while the epidermis, or outer layer of skin, is preserved through continuous cooling. The process is able to tone, tighten and lift skin on face and neck and on the abdomen, thighs, and arms.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® is a protein that, when injected into muscle causes a realization and reduces wrinkles. It is used to smooth facial lines caused primarily by the action of muscles on the skin. By relaxing the muscles that cause major wrinkles, it also works to prevent the formation of new lines. FDA-approved and used by the medical professionals for more than seven years, BOTOX® Cosmetic injections can be administered in a single office visit. Effects last from four to six months, depending on the individual. To maintain results over a longer period, regular touch-ups are required.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a safe, natural, cosmetic dermal filler that corrects severe wrinkles and facial folds, such as the nasolabial folds that run from the sides of the nose to the outer corners of the mouth. This crystal clear, biodegradable gel is the first and only cosmetic dermal filler made of non animal-based hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that exists in the human body and provides volume and fullness to the skin. No allergy testing is required, so Restylane® can be administered immediately, in just one visit.

Radiesse®

Radiesse® is comprised of calcium hydroxylapatite, a normal constituent of bone. The compatibility of Radiesse's main ingredient to elements naturally produced in the body ensures it will not cause an inflammatory or immune response and patients are not required to undergo allergy testing prior to receiving treatment.

Micro Laser Peel™

Micro Laser Peel™ can provide a minimal to full epidermal peel (between 20-100 microns) depending on our patient's vision for revitalization. A topical anesthetic is all that is required for this minimally invasive and highly rewarding procedure. Typically, patients will heal between two to four days.

Cutera® XEO® Laser Systems

Advanced Laser of Long Island uses several Cutera® products including the Titan Prowave® 770 for hair removal, the Accutip® for vascular lesions, and the XEO® platform for rejuvenation of the skin. This platform provides (1) solar genesis, an IPL therapy to rejuvenate sun damaged, brown and red discolorations (2) Laser Genesis, a technique using a "YAG" laser to simulate collagen, tighten pores, minimize fine lines and generally refreshes the skin (3) removal of spider veins and capillaries.

Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion

Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion is the most recent advancement in crystal-free skin resurfacing. Old microdermabrasion techniques worked by blasting tiny crystals at the skin's surface, resulting in discomfort and irritation. Microdermabrasion with Diamond Tip technology helps to diminish the appearance of sun damaged skin, fine lines and wrinkles through the use of diamond-embedded handpiece tips, allowing for optimal results with minimal discomfort.

SilkPeel®

SilkPeel® is an innovative, breakthrough procedure that combines precision exfoliation with customized Dermalinfusion topical solutions to address patient-specific skin conditions. Working on a closed-loop vacuum system, the SilkPeel®'s diamond treatment head exfoliates the skin while delivering a topical dermaceutical in a controlled amount. Blue Light Acne Therapy

Blue light therapy is a safe and cost-effective alternative to oral antibiotics or Accutane® , both of which are saddled with potential side effects. The treatment causes a photodynamic effect that kills the bacteria that cause acne. There is no skin peeling and the benefits are similar to results achieved through months of oral antibiotics. Acne will often go into remission for three to six months after treatment.

Filderma Anti-Aging Facial Treatment

Filderma is the first injection-free topical treatment proven to treat wrinkles, folds and other skin blemishes. Filderma contains a unique blend of marine and vegetable microspheres, hyaluronic acid, black tea and mimetic peptides. The procedure consists of a microdermabrasion followed by the application of special serums containing "microspheres". This is followed by a specially formulated vitamin C facial with a gel that is left in place overnight. The procedure is repeated twice monthly for two months. A home product regime is also provided. The results are seen almost immediately and continue improving over time.

Glycolic Peels

Glycolic peels are comprised of acids that safely and effectively exfoliate the skin. The peels improve the texture of the skin while smoothing fine lines, wrinkles and mild acne scars. They are also effective in reducing discoloration on the face and neck. Redness of the skin may follow immediately after the procedure, but in less than a day the skin will take on a new and refreshing glow.

VISIA™ Digital Complexion Analysis System

The VISIA™ Digital Complexion Analysis System captures digital photos of the face and is able to automatically measure wrinkles, textures, pores and pigmentation. The system then generates quantitative values for these features, values that a short time ago could only be given a subjective value. Today, pertinent information is able to be easily and effectively communicated to patients and treatment outcomes are able to be accurately tracked.
